1. Read what the gospel of Matthew adds to Luke's story of the conception of Jesus in Matthew 1:18-25.

2. Read in Hebrews 4:14-15 and Luke 2:41-522 how Jesus kept His Godly nature even as He lived on earth.

3. Read Isaiah 9:6-7 and Isaiah 7:13-14 and compare the Old Testament prophecy of Christ's birth with the New Testament revelation.

4. Read Jude verses 17-23 to see what influence the Holy Spirit has in the Christians' lives.

1. What was Joseph going to do when he found out Mary was pregnant, and what did he do?

2. What feelings do you have as you realize that Jesus is our Mediator before the Father, and that He lived on earth with all of its problems just like you and me?

3. Why is the concept that Jesus must be conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin so important to Christians?
